This week brings more short track racing to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, this time from Richmond Raceway. Here’s how and when to watch live.

It would be hard for the action at Richmond Raceway to top the show that Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series put on at Bristol (except for, you know, the rain delays and postponements), but the Toyota Owners 400 will give it a shot under the lights on Saturday night.

Martin Truex Jr. is on the pole, looking to do something he doesn’t too all that often: Win at a short track. If he can pull it off, it will add another dimension to the already stout game of the 78 team.

Of course the defending champion isn’t the hottest Cup Series driver at the moment. That would be Kyle Busch, who looks for his third straight win. He had some trouble in qualifying and will have to come from unusually far back in the field to pull it off.

With cars from all three manufacturers in the top five, there should be plenty of rooting interests when there is jostling for the lead, and as the XFINITY Series race proved on Friday night, it’s possible to run down leaders at Richmond if a little tricky at times to pass them.
