Miami Marlins: Trade Martin Prado to the Arizona Diamondbacks

The Miami Marlins are not going anywhere this season, and they will appear quite a bit on our list of moves to be made. One move they should look to making is trading away Martin Prado to the Arizona Diamondbacks for some prospects.

The Diamondbacks are currently dealing with Jake Lamb being on the disabled list, as he tries to come back from an AC joint sprain. In Prado, they could get a guy who can be moved all over the field, and be the team’s starting third baseman until Lamb comes back.

Prado can flat out hit, and he would be joining a Diamondbacks team that could end up winning the NL West. They have a pretty solid lineup from top to bottom, and bringing in Prado would enable a guy like Danny Descalso to go back to coming off the bench.

The NL West is going to go down to the wire, so even when Lamb comes back from injury, they will have ways to utilize Prado in the stretch run. Prado should be back from the disabled list as early as next week, getting healthy just in time to leave the dumpster fire that is the Miami Marlins.

Arizona has the roster to make a run to the World Series, and Prado is a guy you can rely on with the game on the line.
