Can you even remember the last time the Winnipeg Jets lost at home?

The Winnipeg Jets were the best team at home in the 2017-18 NHL regular season, and they hope to keep that dominance going as they host the Nashville Predators in Game 3 on Tuesday.

Home teams haven’t been killing it in the Stanley Cup playoffs, but don’t tell that to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Jets had a league-high 32 wins on home ice in the 2017-18 NHL regular season, and they started that streak at the perfect time to get hot for the postseason.

In fact, heading into Tuesday’s game against the Predators, the Jets’ win streak at home dates all the way back to March 1 — Winnipeg has won all 12 games it has hosted since then:

Update: The streak continues. The Jets defeated the Predators 7-4 Tuesday.

The last time the Winnipeg Jets lost at home was on February 27 — incidentally (or not), to the Predators 6-5.

And the last time the Winnipeg Jets lost a playoff game at home was in 2015…though, to be fair, that was also the last time the franchise made the postseason before this year.

But still!

The Jets have been so successful this postseason in part thanks to the incredible play of center Mark Scheifele. The center notched his third two-goal outing in the past four games on Sunday against the Predators, and he leads the NHL with eight playoff goals.

Of course, the Predators could once again prove a thorn in the Jets’ side at home. Goaltender Pekka Rinne has gone 4-1-1 at Bell MTS Place over his career, and the Predators haven’t been too shabby on the road this year, having gone 27-10-7 including the playoffs.

Winnipeg’s success at home this postseason hasn’t been the norm in the NHL, though. Home teams have only gone 25-25 so far in the playoffs as of Tuesday morning.

Keep the Whiteout parties up, Winnipeg. It’s clearly working.
