The Warriors took care of business in Games 1 and 2 (thanks in part to JR Smith’s gaffe) and now the series shifts to Cleveland. Will the Cavaliers be able to rally and avoid an unceremonious sweep? Can LeBron James get more help from his teammates? Will Steph Curry finally end up with a Finals MVP, or will Kevin Durant win again to complete a near flawless first two years in Golden State?

To help answer these questions, comedian Joey Devine (@joeydevine) joins the latest episode of Fastbreak Breakfast. Joey is the host of the Roundball Rock podcast and is a beleaguered Warriors fan, finding his joy being frequently sapped by Durant playing like the second coming of Corey Maggette. Is he justified for feeling frustrated? And are we justified for wanting to punch Joey for not just enjoying his team winning the title, something most of us will never get to experience?

Also covered:

  • LeBron James seems to be getting very little help from his teammates, but is he one of the reason his teammates aren’t performing well?
  • Why is Jordan Clarkson the new Yinka Dare?
  • How will Kendrick Perkins embarrass himself in Game 3?
  • What can Cleveland fans chant to make up for the sarcastic “M-V-P” chants directed at Smith?
  • If Warriors fans are frustrated, what hope do the rest of us have?
