The Vegas Golden Knights advanced to the Stanley Cup Final in their very first season, so you can bet they’re going to be celebrating. After the sting of losing to the Washington Capitals lessened, the Golden Knights were spotted out on the town.

We in the media can’t get enough of the Washington Capitals’ Stanley Cup shenanigans — from Alex Ovechkin swimming in a public fountain to the players trading a fan on the street for his Christian Djoos shirt to the parade — but the Vegas Golden Knights deserve to celebrate, too! After all, no one expected them to post a winning record in their inaugural season, let alone advance to the Stanley Cup Final.

So after they took the necessary time to mourn and, apparently, to shave their playoff beards, the Golden Knights, these lovable misfits who together are kind of magical, got together to toast their incredible accomplishment.

And about that toast. The Golden Knights were lucky enough to receive a custom, 15L bottle of Moët Chandon with the team logo and a “Vegas Strong” message, which caused the players to erupt in cheers when they saw it.

The bubbly accompanied a steak dinner at steakhouse Scotch 80 Prime inside the Vegas Palms Casino Resort, where the team gathered with their significant others to toast a job well done this year.

Look at Flower in the middle of everyone! Look at William Karlsson cheesin’! You can feel the love between these guys.

After their team dinner, the Golden Knights headed over to the beautifully renovated Pearl Concert Theater to see blink-182 perform a show from their Kings of the Weekend Vegas residency.

The band gave the Golden Knights a NSFW shout-out, and the entire crowd screamed “VGK!” Mark Hoppus even declared that the Golden Knights are his team now. “And I’m not a bandwagoner,” he said, “because this is the first year.”

Can’t argue with that, Mark!

Needless to say, fans were hyped:

Oh, and by the way — Hoppus, Matt Skiba and Travis Barker have custom Golden Knights jerseys:

All in all, the Golden Knights have every right to party as hard as they want to. They live in the wildest city on planet Earth and they accomplished something that 29 other NHL teams could not this season.

Pop the Moët!
