Belgium upset World Cup favorite Brazil in a massive quarterfinal bout, as expected, their fans were loving it.

The 2018 World Cup has been full of surprises and upsets, making for some great moments. With Germany, Portugal, Argentina, and Spain all being bounced in the group stage or round of sixteen, the tournament is truly still up in the air. Many people pegged Brazil as the favorite, especially against a weakened field. However, Belgium had other plans.

It came down to the wire, but Belgium emerged with a narrow 2-1 victory over Neymar and Brazil. All of Belgium’s stars came to play, especially their captain Eden Hazard and goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.

The victory sent Belgium into the World Cup Semifinals for the first time since 1986. Needless to say, the whole country lost their marbles.

The celebration looks more like an electronic dance music festival. Utter pandemonium seems like the most accurate term to describe the passionate Belgian festivities.

The Belgium fans should celebrate while they can as a tough semifinal match against France awaits them on Tuesday. One more victory will see the Red Devils appear in their first ever World Cup Final. If this is how the fans reacted to a win in the quarterfinals, it makes you wonder how crazy they would go after sealing an opportunity to win it all.

If there has been one thing solidified by this World Cup, it is to expect the unexpected. Anything can happen, and that is no exaggeration. The emotion behind this incredible tournament is very apparent as the fan experiences have mirrored what has been displayed on the field. Pure ecstasy following a victory and inconsolable heartbreak after defeat, there is no in-between.
