No. 5 Joe Flacco vs. Cincinnati

Is Joe Flacco elite? This might answer that question finally. Joe Flacco has receivers! It’s a miracle. Snead, Crabtree, Collins out of the backfield, it all bodes well for the Delaware gunslinger.

The Ravens absolutely dominated Buffalo Sunday, I think to no one’s surprise. Here’s the surprise though, in the blowout they didn’t look unbeatable or incredible by any stretch. They had flashes that showed what they could do but also looked downright sluggish at times. What Flacco ultimately brings to the table is that arm strength and the ability to hit pockets when he’s feeling it. That Crabtree touchdown stands out most.

Andrew Luck, in his first start back for the Colts, found open receiver after open receiver against the Bengals. A late turnover sealed the deal for Cincinnati who are off to a hot start of their own but Flacco and co. should find just as much space in the first division test for each team.

Even in an up and down game Flacco went 25-for-34 for 236 yards and three touchdowns. Alex Collins didn’t get going. Get Alex going, find Flacco space and see what happens.
