No. 1 Antonio Callaway vs Oakland

The former Gator has had every bit of struggle to start his career. Hard Knocks literally began with Callaway’s citation at the start of camp. Since then it seems he’s taken to the leaders on that receiving core and worked a lot harder. Who’d have thought playing literally every offensive snap was a real punishment?

Jarvis Landry is vital for Baker Mayfield on this team but I see Callaway as an ever important figure for this group moving forward. He’s lightning quick and can make an inch look like a mile when it comes to separation.

Callaway put together a really great performance in the loss to New Orleans with his three catches, 81 yards and a touchdown. Only 20 yards on the four catches against the Jets but I think with Mayfield his targets go up. Mayfield spreads the ball and can throw open receivers. I expect Callaway against this Oakland defense that’s struggled against the deep ball to be a great boom or bust Flex play this week.
