Eric Ebron, Indianapolis Colts

There is so much that can be said about Eric Ebron of the Indianapolis Colts. Let’s call it the offseason move of the year. Frank Reich is known to jolt the tight end position in a big way. Look at what he has done for Zach Ertz’s career. Now Ebron is reaping the benefits of Reichs genius.

Just to recap last weeks game against the New England Patriots. Ebron managed nine catches for 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was targeted 15 times during the game. His targets coming into Week 6 now total 45. Ebron averages nine targets a game, good for third amongst tight ends.

Ebron’s full accomplishments thus far include, 255 receiving yards, 26 receptions, and five total touchdowns. His 51 receiving yards per game ranks 10th best, his five touchdowns and one per game both rank first amongst tight ends and his 5.2 receptions per game rank fourth.

In Week 6, just like his quarterback also mentioned in this week’s best lineup, Ebron is facing a subpar New York Jets defense. The Jets are giving up a healthy 266.6 passing yards thus far, along with 371.6 total yards per game.

Luck and Ebron should put up healthy numbers in New York this Sunday. Together they have kept the Colts in each and every game. There’s absolutely no reason to not start Ebron in Week 6.

Prediction: 75 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
