Travis Kelce, Kansas City Chiefs

Stats: 563 receiving yards, 3 touchdowns

Travis Kelce is not only one of the best tight ends in the NFL, he is one of the best players. After Kansas City completely dismantled the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday night football. Kelce has firmly taken the top tight end spot away from Rob Gronkowski of the New England Patriots. Kelce caught a mere five balls for 95 yards Sunday night. His big-play ability is hard to pass up on.

Kelce is the type of player you want on your team. He’s passionate and plays hard every single snap. He can also be your worst enemy and a guy you love to hate if he’s not on your team. Let’s give him his due diligence for his outstanding play. Whether you’re playing him or playing against him. The Chiefs have so many weapons on their offense. How can you pick just one?

Kelce is right up there in the top five among tight ends in receiving yards, touchdowns, receptions and targets. His lowest ranking is third with three touchdowns. A top two tight end on arguably the best offense in the NFL? Take it and run all year long. This guy has another great matchup in Week 8 against their rivals in the  Denver Broncos. Their last meeting with a 27-23 Kansas City on Monday night in Week 4 at Denver.

Even though Denver is 10th-ranked against the pass they do give up a ton of yards per game with 378. The Kansas City offense will no doubt take full advantage as the Broncos don’t boast such a high-scoring offense. This game could quickly turn into another Kansas City rout. Kelce is your best option at tight end in Week 8. As he has averaged 80 receiving yards per game in 2018.

Prediction: 75 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
