Start: James Connor, Pittsburgh Steelers

vs. Cleveland Browns

James Connor continues to fill in nicely for Le’Veon Bell. He’s averaging over four yards per carry and is approaching 500 yards on the season. Connor sits inside the top-10 in rushing yards in the entire NFL.

This week he faces a Cleveland Browns defense that is allowing over 130 rushing yards per game. The Steelers will look to take advantage of this weakness and feed Connor the ball.

Over his past two games, Connor is averaging 20 carries per game and that trend is unlikely to end this week. Pittsburgh heads into this match needing a win in order to keep pace in what is a very tight divisional race.

Sit: Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers

vs. Baltimore Ravens

It has been sort of a disappointing fantasy season for Christian McCaffrey. He has had a few strong performances, but so much of his fantasy value it tied to his work in the passing game. The problem is that he hasn’t produce many big plays.

This has made his into a slot receiver type who brings a low yards per catch average. That would be find if you used a mid-round pick on McCaffrey, but most selected him in either the first or second round.

McCaffrey has a tough matchup this week against the Baltimore Ravens. If there are other options on your bench this might be a week to sit him.
