George Kittle, San Francisco 49ers, $5,600

Stats: 584 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns

George Kittle is the gear that keeps this San Francisco offense moving. Kittle’s 57 targets ranks fourth amongst tight ends and his 37 receptions is third-ranked among tight ends. This man has high volume that you can’t ignore moving forward. Week 9 the 49ers get a home date with the struggling 26th-ranked Raiders defense. Kittle will get going against this lackluster defense.

Kittle has been everything that his quarterback and former college teammate C.J. Beathard has needed this season. Beathard has used his big target early and often each week. Kittle averages seven targets and 73 receiving yards per game. This offense goes as Kittle does. In Week 8 against the rival Arizona Cardinals, Kittle caught five of eight balls for 57 yards.

Fantasy football analysts across America love players like Kittle, with high volume, low floor production we love to utilize week in and week out. In what has become a muddled fantasy position this season, Kittle has emerged as a every week starter with not many reliable consistent tight ends through eight weeks.

To back this all up and reassure you let’s take a look at the Oakland Raider defense through eight weeks of action. Allowing 407 yards per game to opposing offenses, the Raiders have become a fantasy favorite to start against.

Prediction: 75 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
