FLEX: Saquon Barkley, New York Giants

vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Sunday 1:00pm

Fanduel Price: $8,800

I’ve been building my fanduel lineups by saving the FLEX spot for last. In recent weeks, this has allowed me to use a high amount of my budget at this spot. My roster flows much better looking for bargains at running back or wide receiver and leaving my options open at the FLEX.

This week I was able to squeeze Saquon Barkley into my budget. He has a great matchup this week against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and remains a go-to option in the Giants offensive attack.

He’s someone who is a steady fantasy performer but also brings huge upside.

Backup Option: Melvin Gordon III, Los Angeles Chargers

vs. Denver Broncos, Sunday 4:05pm

Fanduel Price: $8,700

Melvin Gordon III still seems to be flying under the radar as a player. He’s one of the more electric running backs in the league and a true duel threat. The entire Los Angeles Chargers offense really runs through Gordon.

This past week was a perfect example of that fact. He led the Chargers in both rushing and receiving yards.

Gordon not only gets a ton of work, but is also a big-play threat. He is literally someone who can score each time he touches the football. Gordon should be in your fanduel lineup whenever possible.
