32. . Offensive Tackle. Alabama. Jonah Williams. 2. player

The Arizona Cardinals moved up the draft order this week, as they took a loss in front of their home fans at the hands of the Oakland Raiders. The Raiders went into that game against Arizona holding the first overall selection next April, but matched the Cardinals with their second win of the season, and fell to No. 3.

When it comes to the Cardinals, they did a nice job bringing in Josh Rosen via the NFL Draft in April, as they traded up in the first round with the Raiders. Rosen was selected at No. 10 overall, and while he has shown he has the talent to be a starting quarterback in the league, the Cardinals need to do a better job protecting him.

In fact, the Cardinals have one of the worst offensive lines in football, and we have seen what happens to good, young quarterbacks when they get no protection. If the Cardinals are drafting this high in the first round next year, they have to bolster the offensive line, so selecting the best offensive lineman in the draft class makes sense at No. 2.

That player is Jonah Williams from Alabama, who is having a fantastic time leading the Crimson Tide to another likely spot in the College Football Playoff. He is going to be a starting left tackle at the next level, and in Arizona, he could protect Rosen’s blindside for the next ten years.
