Courtland Sutton, WR, Denver Broncos

After catching just one pass for 14 yards in Week 12 against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos rookie wide receiver Courtland Sutton is back on the fantasy football radar after posting his best fantasy line of the season.

Sutton caught four passes for 85 yards and a touchdown in a Week 13 win over the Cincinnati Bengals, taking advantage of one of the league’s worst defenses. That was his third 75+ receiving yard day in the last five weeks, with the dud against the Steelers being his only game in his last five with under 50 receiving yards.

The 40th overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Sutton is clearly someone the Broncos are high on, especially since they traded franchise icon Demaryius Thomas to the Houston Texans earlier this season. Sutton has all the tools to make an impact, but he will be tested, just as he was against Pittsburgh, next week against Richard Sherman’s San Francisco 49ers.

After that test against the Niners, Sutton and the Broncos will face the Cleveland Browns, Oakland Raiders, and Los Angeles Chargers to close out the season. Those are all favorable matchups for the Broncos starting wide receiver, so fantasy owners should place the talented Sutton on their watch list.
