High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,250

John Wall (at ATL – $9,400): Needs 43.4 fantasy points. Wall had 42 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 3. He’s been all over the place this season, but the Wizards offense has been clicking for the most part recently. And they should have no issues against the Hawks. The good news is also that their defense is so bad that the Hawks should be able to hang around and keep Wall’s minutes up. He’ll deliver a big game. Diagnosis: Great matchup and a high ceiling.

Kyle Lowry (vs PHI – $7,700): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. Lowry has been consistent in recent games and he’s thrown a 46 fantasy point game against the Warriors in there. He had 44.2 fantasy points against the Sixers on Oct. 30. This is a different Sixers squad, but they’ve been bad against the point guard position this season and Lowry can put up good scoring numbers to go along with his assists. Diagnosis: Reliable with a proven matchup and high ceiling.

Jamal Murray (at ORL – $6,700): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. Murray had 39.25 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 3. He’s been inconsistent this season, hitting value in just 57 percent of games. But the Magic are on a back-to-back and are a good matchup. Murray can always do a bit of everything, which helps his cause. Diagnosis: Salary and matchup are good. Murray will have a strong outing.

Quick Hits

Luka Doncic ($6,700): The Mavericks are on a back-to-back, but the Pelicans defense is gross.
