High Value PG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Schroder (at BKN – $5,800): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. Schroder has been over 30 fantasy points in each of his last two games. His minutes have been down as the Thunder have been involved in a couple of blowouts, but the Nets have the ability to hang around. And the Thunder are due a rough performance in this run. If nothing else, Schroder is reliable. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling. Minutes and chances will be there.

Jordan Clarkson (vs GS – $5,300): Needs 24.1 fantasy points. Clarkson had 42.75 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 3. He’s shown a high ceiling with his scoring and rebounding ability. Any assists are just a bonus. The thing I like about Clarkson is that he’s going to think this is his time to shine and he’s going to take all the shots. The Warriors talk will only motivate him more. Diagnosis: Use his irrational confidence to your advantage.

Jeremy Lin (vs WAS – $4,900): Needs 22.3 fantasy points. Lin returned to the lineup against the Warriors and finished with 30.75 fantasy points. He’s been solid coming off the bench in recent games and now he gets the Wizards. Their defense is a wreck and their bench, even with Morris’ contributions, remains an eyesore. Lin is also at a good salary. Diagnosis: Playing well, great matchup, good cost.
