DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 5, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Giannis Antetokunmpo (vs DET – $11,600): Needs 52.4 fantasy points. It’s Giannis. He had 75.75 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 1. It’s not only Giannis, it’s angry Giannis. The last time we saw him, he was getting Ty Lue’d and I’m not talking about the coaching version. He’s going to make a statement in this game because that’s who Giannis is this season. It’ll cost you plenty of space, but if you want to build around any high salary guy, Giannis is my favorite option. Diagnosis: Always reliable and now he’s angry. Always trust in Giannis.
Paul George (at BKN – $8,300): Needs 37.5 fantasy points. George had 42 fantasy points in 31 minutes against the Pistons on Dec. 3. Even in limited minutes and with his shooting struggles, he’s finding a way to contribute. He does a bit of everything and the matchup is good on Wednesday given the Nets struggles. If the game is competitive, even better because it means George will get actual playing time. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling if the game ends up competitive.
Danilo Gallinari (at MEM – $6,600): Needs 29.8 fantasy points. Harris and Harrell continue to get the headlines for the Clippers, but it’s been Gallinari who is the best DFS choice. His salary is not only lower than the other two, but he can give you similar production and is more reliable at this point. The matchup is tough with Memphis’ defense, but Gallinari is proven with a high ceiling. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling. Matchup could be better.
