High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Bradley Beal (at CLE – $8,800): Needs 39.4 fantasy points. A blowout is in play, which is the only concern in this one. Beal has been fantastic in the last two games, going over 50 fantasy points in both contests. And if Wall is out, that will mean more opportunities for Beal to be the lead guy. Plus, it’s the Cavaliers. And the Cavaliers on a back-to-back. Beal will deliver. Diagnosis: A blowout is the only worry. Otherwise, take with confidence.

D’Angelo Russell (at NY – $8,100): Needs 36.7 fantasy points. Russell had 42.75 fantasy points against the Raptors on Friday. The Nets are on a back-to-back and went to OT, so they could have some tired legs heading into Saturday. That is the bad news. The good news is that they are facing the Knicks and their inconsistent rotations and defense. Russell has been very good with LeVert out of the lineup and has big potential. Diagnosis: High ceiling and good matchup.

Tim Hardaway Jr (vs BKN – $6,900): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. Hardaway Jr’s value is still largely tied to his scoring, which is one thing I don’t like about him right now. But his scoring should be there in this game because the Nets aren’t great defensively and are on a back-to-back. He needs a big scoring game or needs to do more in other categories to justify his salary. Trust him to do it. Diagnosis: Slight risk, but the points will be there and the matchup is good.
