DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 10, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Derrick Favors (at OKC – $5,400): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. Favors followed up his 41.5 fantasy point performance against the Rockets with 20 fantasy points against the Spurs. He’s still been inconsistent this season, which makes it tough to trust him. But he played well against the Thunder in the playoffs, so I’m going to trust that he can deliver on Monday. You can also look towards Crowder, whose versatility I continue to love. Diagnosis: Proven matchup, but recognize his inconsistencies and sometimes lack of minutes.
Thaddeus Young (vs WAS – $4,800): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. Young has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games. And now he gets the Wizards. He’s found his shooting stroke and he continues to chip in with rebounds. Given both of those facts and the fact that the Pacers are up against the Wizards, Young makes for a good option. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, and Wizards defense.
Jerami Grant (vs UTA – $4,300): Needs 19.8 fantasy points. On a big night, you’re going to need a reliable salary saver. And that would be where Grant comes in. The minutes are there and he can chip in in all categories. He’s going to play a big role against the Jazz and do a bit of everything. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, and will definitely get the minutes.
