High Value SG

Players costing $6,250 or under

Malcolm Brogdon (at CLE – $5,600): Needs 25.4 fantasy points. Brogdon was down to 16.25 fantasy points against the Pacers. But he did had 30.75 fantasy points against the Cavaliers on Dec. 10. Giannis didn’t play and he won’t be needed much in this game. Brogdon is at a nice salary right now and he’s been reliable this season, hitting value in 70 percent of games this season. Trust him to bounce back. Diagnosis: It’s the Cavaliers. He’s at a good salary and even in limited minutes, he’ll get it done.

Terry Rozier (vs ATL – $4,600): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. Rozier had been over 30 fantasy points in three straight games but was down to 19.75 fantasy points against the Wizards. However, a lot of things are working in his favor on Friday. If Jaylen Brown is out, Rozier figures to see more minutes at the two spot. And it’s the Hawks. The starters should get the job done, leading to more minutes for Rozier off the bench. He’s at a good salary for how he’s been playing. Diagnosis: I don’t like the Celtics starters because they won’t get enough minutes. I do like a backup like Rozier who should pick up those minutes.

Joe Harris (vs WAS – $4,300): Needs 19.6 fantasy points. Harris hasn’t been great since returning to the lineup against the Thunder when he had 34.25 fantasy points. But I can’t help but look at this matchup and not like him. The Wizards don’t play defense and Harris typically gets his shots while chipping in elsewhere. This just feels like a game where he bounces back and overdelivers. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and he’s due a strong game.

Quick Hits

Furkan Korkmaz ($3,800): If Butler is out, take with confidence.
