DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 14, 2018
High Salary SF
Players costing over $6,250
Paul George (at DEN – $9,100): Needs 42.1 fantasy points. You know what you’re getting for George on a nightly basis. He’s going to hit value and if his shot is falling, he’s going to have a big game. He had 53.25 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 12. There is very little concern with George right now. He does a bit of everything and the scoring threat is always there. Minutes are never an issue either. Diagnosis: Always reliable and always has a high ceiling. Always take with confidence. Always.
Ben Simmons (vs IND – $8,700): Needs 40.1 fantasy points. I don’t know if Jimmy Butler will play or not, but if he doesn’t, you can take Simmons with confidence. The matchup is tough, but don’t worry too much about it. Someone has to do everything for the Sixers and that lies on Simmons and Embiid. He puts up numbers across the board and is always a triple-double threat. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling. If Butler plays, his value goes down.
Tim Hardaway Jr (at CHA – $6,600): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. Hardaway Jr has been over 30 fantasy points in his last two games, including a 34 fantasy point effort against the Hornets on Dec. 9. He’s doing just enough in other categories to go along with his scoring, which is typically there. The matchup is a good one as the Hornets don’t play too much defense. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
