DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 14, 2018
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Kevin Durant (at SAC – $10,300): Needs 47.6 fantasy points. Durant had 44.75 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 12. With the Warriors healthy, his ceiling has lowered, but he’s still Kevin Durant. He had 73.75 fantasy points against the Kings on Nov. 24, although Curry didn’t play in that game. I expect the Warriors to make a statement after their rough outing against the Raptors. And I expect the Kings to punch back a bit. Diagnosis: Reliable with a decent ceiling.
John Collins (at BOS – $7,200): Needs 33.8 fantasy points. Collins had 43.75 fantasy points against the Mavericks on Dec. 12. He’s been fantastic since returning to the lineup and getting his minutes up as he gets healthier. He’s playing himself into a rhythm and is delivering in a big way. The Celtics are a tough matchup, but it’s tough to doubt Collins with the way he’s playing. Diagnosis: Red hot and a high ceiling. Tough matchup, but should get value.
Serge Ibaka (at POR – $6,300): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Ibaka has been over 40 fantasy points in his last three games. After seemingly hitting a cold streak, Ibaka is back on a hot streak. He’s one of the streakiest players in the league, but when he’s on, he’s nearly unstoppable. He’s on right now. And with Jonas missing time, Ibaka’s minutes figure to go up. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling.
