DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 14, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Larry Nance Jr (vs MIL – $6,200): Needs 29.1 fantasy points. Nance Jr. was up to 39.25 fantasy points against the Knicks on Dec. 12. With Thompson out of the lineup, Nance Jr. will be the guy to step up with his rebounding. The scoring wasn’t there against the Knicks, but the minutes and opportunities will continue to be there. Until his salary rises, he’ll be a good bet given his role. Diagnosis: Minutes and circumstances will be good for the next few weeks.
Pascal Siakam (at POR – $5,900): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. Siakam has been down a bit in his recent games, but I’m not too worried about him. His minutes are there and he continues to do a bit of everything. And the Blazers are a good matchup with the way they’ve been playing as late. If nothing else, Siakam in going to get you at least value. Diagnosis: Reliable, gets the minutes, high ceiling.
Thaddeus Young (at PHI – $5,700): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. Young was up to 57.75 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 12. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in three straight games. With Sabonis breathing down his neck, Young has really stepped up his game. I don’t trust the Sixers right now and you may as well get Young while he’s still cooking. Diagnosis: Red hot and a solid matchup.
Quick Hits
Marvin Williams ($4,900): Reliable and against the Knicks.
