Players costing $6,250 or under

Dennis Schroder (vs LAC – $5,800): Needs 26.4 fantasy points. Schroder was down to 14.75 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Friday. Don’t be too alarmed. The scoring is typically there for him. The shots are definitely there for him. And the Clippers defense hasn’t shown up in the last few games. Even though the Thunder are on a back-to-back, Schroder is a high ceiling guy who will bounce back. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Jaylen Brown (at DET – $5,400): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. Brown struggled against the Hawks on Friday, finishing with just 15.5 fantasy points. Don’t be too concerned. He’s played well when coming off the bench and it’s not like he was needed against the Hawks anyway. This will be a good opportunity for him to bounce back. He’s earned the trust based on his bench performances thus far. Diagnosis: Trust him to bounce back. The matchup is good.

Bryn Forbes (vs CHI – $4,200): Needs 19.1 fantasy points. Grab one of the Spurs point guards. They are all at affordable prices and all fairly reliable because they get solid playing time since the Spurs are so thin at guard. Forbes has shown the highest ceiling, which is why I’m personally rolling with him. It’s the Bulls. He’ll get numbers and is reliable if nothing else. Diagnosis: Reliable, solid ceiling, and Bulls.
