Paul George
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – JANUARY 28: Paul George /

High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

LeBron James (at CHA – $10,700): Needs 49.5 fantasy points. Will Michael Jordan be in the building? Because that’s the difference between James getting 50 fantasy points and 80 fantasy points. In all seriousness, LeBron will bounce back after the rough outing against the Rockets. The Hornets are on a back-to-back and don’t offer much defense. Meanwhile, LeBron has been great over the last month and is still LeBron. Diagnosis: Reliable, high ceiling. But check if Jordan will be courtside.

Paul George (vs LAC – $9,200): Needs 42.5 fantasy points. As always, you know what you’re getting with George. The scoring was there on Friday, but his rebounds and assists were down. Expect the rebounds and assists to be back up against the Clippers. And the scoring has seemingly come around in a big way, which is good for his overall value. Diagnosis: Reliable with a very high ceiling.

Marcus Morris (at DET – $6,700): Needs 31 fantasy points. Morris had 36 fantasy points against the Hawks on Friday. He’s been a bit inconsistent as the starter, but his good games are good. And I expect him to have a good game against the Pistons. This is a matchup he was born for with their frontcourt and he turned in solid games against them off the bench earlier this season. He’s playing better as a starter. The points and rebounds will be there. Diagnosis: Good salary and reliable. Love the matchup.
