DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – Dec. 15, 2018
High Value PF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Jayson Tatum (at DET – $6,100): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. Tatum had 30.75 fantasy points against the Hawks on Friday. His minutes should be up in this one as the Pistons will make the game competitive. Tatum has been scoring well, but his value is largely tied to buckets right now. I think his rebounding numbers will be up in this game. The Celtics will be pushed and Tatum will step up. Or they’ll just blow another team out of the water. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Jaren Jackson Jr (vs HOU – $5,800): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. Triple J had 25 fantasy point against the Heat on Friday. He’s a rookie so he’s inconsistent and his minutes are a bit all over the place. But I like this matchup. This feels like a game where Triple J puts up good scoring and rebounding numbers while coming up with a few defensive plays. Diagnosis: This is a gut feeling pick. I don’t know what it is, I just like him on Saturday.
Dario Saric (at PHO – $4,200): Needs 19.4 fantasy points. Saric has played over 30 minutes in his last two games, which has helped his value. He was up to 33 fantasy points against the Kings on Dec. 12. His minutes should be good against the Suns, whether it’s a blowout or he’s just gotten a bigger role on the team. Scoring and rebounding should not be a problem for him on Saturday. Diagnosis: Low-cost, good ceiling, and Suns.
