DraftKings, Jokic
LOS ANGELES, CA – OCTOBER 09: Denver Nuggets Center Nikola Jokic (15) looks on before a NBA preseason game between the Denver Nuggets and the Los Angeles Clippers on October 9, 2018 at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA. /

High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Jokic (vs TOR – $9,900): Needs 47.4 fantasy points. Jokic had 61.75 fantasy points against the Thunder on Dec. 14. This is typically his matchup as well. He had 66.75 fantasy points against the Raptors on Dec. 3 and is averaging 61.9 fantasy points in his last three games against the Raptors. All signs point to huge game for Jokic on Sunday. Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a very high ceiling.

DeAndre Jordan (vs SAC – $6,800): Needs 32.5 fantasy points. Jordan is all over the place and failed to do much damage against the Hawks or Suns, both of which were good matchups. We know what he’s capable of, but it just hasn’t been there this season. Diagnosis: I don’t trust Jordan at this point. But the minutes and chances are there.

Willie Cauley-Stein (at DAL – $6,700): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. Cauley-Stein has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games. He was up to 43.75 fantasy points against the Warriors on Dec. 14. The Mavericks are first against the position, so this matchup is not exactly a good one. The minutes will be there and with Bagley III out, he’ll get some more opportunities. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, but should do enough to at least be at value.
