Players costing $6,250 or under

Markieff Morris (vs LAL – $5,400): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. Morris hasn’t hit 25 fantasy points since a Dec. 3 game against the Knicks. All of this would seem to be a bad sign coming into Sunday. But he’s at a good salary and the matchup is solid enough. He’ll break out of this slump at some point. And with the Wizards being shorthanded, this is his chance to bust out. Diagnosis: A risk based on recent play. But minutes and shots are there. Circumstances and matchup is good.

Kelly Olynyk (at NO – $5,300): Needs 23.6 fantasy points. Whiteside is back in the rotation, which has thrown off the minutes of Olynyk, Johnson and AdeBayo. Olynyk still played well against the Grizzlies, finished with 36.75 fantasy points. He’s playing very well right now and even though he can be a bit inconsistent, he’s at a good enough salary to where you should be able to trust him. The matchup is solid with the Pelicans defense and bench. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

JaVale McGee (at WAS – $4,700): Needs 22.5 fantasy points. McGee had 34 fantasy points in 18 minutes against the Hornets on Saturday. The matchup was good as the Hornets are weak against the position and were on a back-to-back. The matchup is good again on Sunday because it’s the Wizards. His minutes are down, but he’s fairly reliable at this salary. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling and matchup.
