NEW ORLEANS, LA – APRIL 19: Jrue Holiday /

High Salary SG

Players costing over $6,250

Jrue Holiday (vs MIA – $8,400): Needs 38.3 fantasy points. Holiday bounced back from his poor 21.75 fantasy point game against the Celtics with 45.25 fantasy points against the Thunder. He’s a high ceiling player and typically reliable as the top perimeter option on the Pelicans. The Heat are a solid defensive team, but Holiday should do enough with his scoring and passing to at least be at value. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and reliable, matchup isn’t great.

Bradley Beal (vs LAL – $8,200): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. Beal had 46.75 fantasy points against the Nets on Dec. 14. The Wizards could be very shorthanded after the trade and with Porter Jr possibly being out. If that’s the case, Beal will have more opportunities to score and be the primary playmaker. Diagnosis: Circumstances could end up being very good as the Wizards might be short some bodies. Reliable with a high ceiling.

Luka Doncic (vs SAC – $7,300): Needs 33.4 fantasy points. Doncic was down to 30.75 fantasy points against the Suns on Dec. 13. I’m not too concerned as it was a back-to-back and the Mavericks as a squad struggled in that one. He’s been solid at home this season, averaging 37.8 fantasy points. The matchup is tough as the Kings are scrappy, but their defense isn’t good. Diagnosis: Feels like a big Doncic game.
