High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Anthony Davis (vs MIA – $11,600): Needs 54.8 fantasy points. Davis had 76 fantasy points against the Thunder on Dec. 12. It’s Anthony Davis. You know what you’re getting from him on most nights. He’s going to get you a double-double with big scoring and rebounding numbers. And then he’s going to chip in with defense. Remember, he’s Anthony Davis. Diagnosis: Never a bad option, it doesn’t matter what the matchup is a this point.

Julius Randle (vs MIA – $8,100): Needs 38.2 fantasy points. Randle continues to play well as the starter and had 43.5 fantasy points against the Thunder on Dec. 12. The points and rebounds are there right now and he chips in with some assists. The matchup is tough, but there’s no reason to doubt Randle given how well he’s played as the starter. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Serge Ibaka (at DEN – $6,500): Needs 30.7 fantasy points. Ibaka was down to 28.5 fantasy points against the Blazers after going over 40 fantasy points in three straight games. The scoring is still there, but his rebounding numbers were down. He’s been good for most of this season, but maybe it’s a sign that he’s slipping. He’s streaky and I’m not a huge fan of this matchup. Diagnosis: Solid option, but there are warning signs that he will underperform.
