DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 17, 2018
High Salary C
Players costing over $6,250
Karl-Anthony Towns (vs SAC – $10,000): Needs 47.7 fantasy points. Towns was at 59 fantasy points against the Suns on Dec. 15. And this is his matchup. He’s averaging 56.5 fantasy points in two games against the Kings this season and 59.9 fantasy points in his last five games against the Kings. And the Kings are on a back-to-back. This should be a huge game for him on Monday. Diagnosis: Love everything about Towns. He should deliver in a big way.
Rudy Gobert (at HOU – $7,400): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. I’m going to assume that Gobert won’t get tossed three minutes into the game because water sucks and gatorade is better. He hasn’t been great in recent games, but he’s fairly reliable against the Rockets. And I still don’t quite trust the Rockets, no matter how well they’ve played over the last week. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Enes Kanter (vs PHO – $6,700): Needs 31.9 fantasy points. Kanter had 38.25 fantasy points against the Pacers on Sunday. As always with Kanter, he just needs minutes. If he gets the minutes, he will produce. The minutes should be there against the Suns because they are the Suns and are weak against the position. He should get a double-double if nothing else. But expect more given the matchup. Diagnosis: Assuming the minutes are there, he’ll have a big game.
