High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Noah Vonleh (vs PHO – $5,500): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. Vonleh had 29 fantasy points against the Pacers on Sunday. Minutes have never been an issue for Vonleh and he can do a bit of everything. The matchup is good on Monday because it’s the Suns. The back-to-back is a bit troubling, but Vonleh is at a good salary to where he should at least hit value. Diagnosis: Reliable, good ceiling, and Suns.

Brook Lopez (at DET – $5,100): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. Lopez had been over 30 fantasy points in three of his last four games. You should know what to expect from Lopez at this point. He’s going to get his points and rebounds and he’s been chipping in with defense. He had 25.25 fantasy points against the Pistons on Dec. 5. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Richaun Holmes (at NY – $4,000): Needs 18.8 fantasy points. Holmes was down to 14 fantasy points against the Timberwolves on Dec. 15. I’m not too concerned as he did play 23 minutes and should be better against the Knicks. Because it’s the Knicks. If he gets at least 23 minutes again, he’ll be back up over 20 fantasy points. Diagnosis: Great matchup and shown a good ceiling. He’s reliable on Monday.
