DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 17, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,250 or under
Kris Dunn (at OKC – $6,200): Needs 28.2 fantasy points. Dunn had 40.75 fantasy points against the Spurs on Dec. 15. He played 36 minutes in that contest, which would indicate that the restrictions are off him. He was a very solid performer last season and the Spurs game should give you some confidence heading into Monday. The matchup is tough, but Dunn will get the opportunities. Diagnosis: A high ceiling, but a slight risk if the Thunder are motivated and lacked in defensively.
Joe Ingles (at HOU – $5,900): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. Ingles had 29.75 fantasy points against the Magic on Dec. 15. He’s been inconsistent this season and has hit value in just 47 percent of games this season. But the Rockets is typically his matchup. He’s averaging 30.5 fantasy points against them in two games this season. He can do a bit of everything and should be reliable on Monday. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Dennis Schroder (vs CHI – $5,600): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. Schroder has failed to crack 20 fantasy points in each of his last two games. It’s concerning, but the minutes and shots are still there for him. Much like Westbrook, the lid will come off the basket and the matchup is certainly a good one on Monday. He had 29.75 fantasy points in the Dec. 7 game against the Bulls. He’s going to hit big at some point it feels like Monday will be the night. Diagnosis: He’s ready to explode. The matchup is a great one.
