High Value C

Players costing $6,250 or under

Dewayne Dedmon (at NY – $5,900): Needs 27.9 fantasy points. If you don’t want to jump up and grab Collins, you can always go with Dedmon. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in three straight and four of his last five. His ceiling isn’t quite as high on a night-to-night basis, but he’s reliable and it’s the Knicks. The points and rebounds should be there without issue. Diagnosis: Reliable, high ceiling and Knicks.

Noah Vonleh (vs ATL – $5,600): Needs 26.5 fantasy points. Vonleh had 29.5 fantasy points against the Sixers on Dec. 19. The minutes are there for him and it’s a great matchup. He’s averaging 34.4 fantasy points in two games against the Hawks this season. Trust the matchup, especially with the minutes Vonleh gets. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Brook Lopez (at BOS – $4,600): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. Lopez was down to 17.25 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 19. I’m not too worried. Chalk it up to an off night and expect him to be better against the Celtics on Friday. The opportunities are still there for him and his salary has dropped a bit. Diagnosis: Reliable.
