High Salary SF

Players costing over $6,250

Paul George (at UTA – $9,400): Needs 43.7 fantasy points. It’s a broken record with Paul George. He’s not only shooting lights out right now, but he’s also doing everything else well on top of it. He had 48.75 fantasy points in 30 minutes against the Jazz on Dec. 10. And the Jazz are on a back-to-back. I see no reason to doubt George at this point as he’s been outstanding during this month. Diagnosis: Take PG with all the confidence in the world right now.

Luka Doncic (at GS – $8,100): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. I’m not doubting Doncic at this point. He’s been over 50 fantasy points in his last two games. The Warriors will look to stop all the hype in one game, and it’s possible that Doncic just has a rough night, but he remains at a very reasonable salary given the production you’re getting from him right now. And until I see someone slow him down, I won’t believe it. Diagnosis: I worry about the matchup. But I don’t worry about Doncic.

Josh Richardson (vs MIL – $7,000): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. Richardson was up to 41.5 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 20. He’s over his slump, which has been great news for his value. The Bucks are on a back-to-back, which should mean good things for him on Saturday. And with the Heat lacking playmakers (especially if Winslow is out again), Richardson will have more opportunities. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
