DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 22, 2018
High Salary PF
Players costing over $6,250
Giannis Antetokounmpo (at MIA – $10,900): Needs 50.7 fantasy points. Giannis had 52 fantasy points against the Celtics on Friday. It’s a back-to-back for the Bucks, but they were able to get some rest in blowing out the Celtics. And it’s Giannis. He’s a freak for a reason. And he’ll need to be good in this game as the Heat can be a tricky matchup. Still, it’s Giannis. It’s tough to doubt Giannis. If nothing else, he’ll get you value. Diagnosis: Reliable and always a threat to produce a big game.
Kevin Durant (vs DAL – $9,200): Needs 42.8 fantasy points. Durant is nothing if not reliable. The ceiling remains high but with the Warriors at full strength, the opportunities aren’t always there for him. This feels like a game where Durant takes the hype surrounding Doncic personally and tries to prove a point. And the Warriors are always waiting to explode. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.
T.J. Warren (at WAS – $6,700): Needs 31.2 fantasy points. Warren continues to be solid for the Suns. He’s settled into a nice salary where he’s reliable, but you should expect a bit more out of him on Saturday given the matchup. The scoring will be there for him and he’ll chip in with rebounds and a little defense. Diagnosis: Reliable, good matchup and ceiling.
