High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

Nikola Vucevic (vs MIA – $9,300): Needs 43.9 fantasy points. Vucevic has been over 49 fantasy points in three straight games. The Magic are not a good team, but Vucevic has been posting big numbers. The scoring and rebounding should be there for him on Sunday, especially if the Heat have tired legs on the back-to-back. Diagnosis: Reliable with a high ceiling.

Larry Nance Jr (vs CHI – $7,500): Needs 35.3 fantasy points. Nance Jr has been over 40 fantasy points in three straight games. As I’ve been saying with him, someone has to get points and rebounds and play defense in the paint for the Cavaliers and it’s been Nance Jr during this recent run. The matchup is great as the Bulls are very weak against the position. Expect Nance Jr to keep up his hot run. Diagnosis: High ceiling and great matchup.

Anthony Davis (at SAC – $11,500): Needs 54.1 fantasy points. It’s Anthony Davis. He didn’t even look right against the Lakers and still ended with 66 fantasy points. There’s no reason to doubt Davis right now. He’s going to get plenty of points and rebounds in this game and he’s typically good for defensive numbers. There’s never a bad reason to take Davis. Diagnosis: It’s Anthony Davis. He’s produce in a big way because that’s what he does.
