Players costing $6,250 or under

Jarrett Allen (vs PHO – $5,400): Needs 25.5 fantasy points. It’s tough to trust Allen right now because his production has been all over the place. But trust this matchup. He had 32.25 fantasy points against the Suns on Nov. 6. And the Suns are on a back-to-back. Allen should be able to get points and rebounds in this game while coming up with a defensive play or two. Diagnosis: High ceiling and great matchup.

Daniel Theis (vs CHA – $4,200): Needs 19.8 fantasy points. With the injuries to the Celtics forwards, Theis continues to get solid minutes. He’s proven to have a high ceiling and the matchup is good for him on Sunday. He’s a solid scorer and rebounder who should do enough to at least hit value in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling. The minutes are there, which is good given his salary.

Richaun Holmes (at BKN – $3,800): Needs 17.9 fantasy points. Holmes played 24 minutes and had 22.25 fantasy points against the Wizards on Saturday. He should get the same, if not more, minutes against the Nets on Sunday with the triple OT game limiting the minutes of a guy like Ayton. When the minutes have been there, the production has been there. And he’s at a very good salary. Diagnosis: Low-cost, should get good minutes, and he’ll produce in those minutes.
