High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Marvin Williams (at BOS – $5,600): Needs 26 fantasy points. Williams has kept up his hot streak and was up to 43 fantasy points against the Pistons on Dec. 21. He’s shooting the ball very well and chipping in with rebounds. As long as he remains this hot, keep riding him. The Celtics are a bit of a mess right now and while the Hornets aren’t great, they have some high ceiling guys. Diagnosis: Red hot and a high ceiling.

Joe Harris (vs PHO – $4,800): Needs 22 fantasy points. Harris is nothing if not reliable. I still like his overall game as he does a bit of everything and is always a threat with his shooting. The Suns are on a back-to-back and are still the Suns. Harris is at a good salary and he should be get his scoring numbers in this one while chipping in with some assists and rebounds. Diagnosis: Reliable.

Josh Jackson (at BKN – $4,700): Needs 21.9 fantasy points. Much like Melton, this is all about the circumstances. Jackson played only 17 minutes in the triple OT game. He should be fresh and ready to go in this one. And if the Suns are going to rest guys, Jackson will take those minutes. He’s proven he can produce when he gets the minutes. The Nets are a solid matchup as long as he gets the minutes. Diagnosis: All about the circumstances. Minutes and production should be way up.
