DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – December 26, 2018
High Value C
Players costing $6,250 or under
Montrezl Harrell (vs SAC – $5,700): Needs 26.8 fantasy points. Harrell was down to 18.75 fantasy points against the Warriors, which is a bit concerning because that’s typically a good matchup for him. The Kings are another good matchup for him as he had 35 fantasy points against them on Nov. 29 and has been over 30 fantasy points against them in four straight games. As long as the minutes are there, the production will be there as well. Diagnosis: High ceiling.
Dewayne Dedmon (vs IND – $5,200): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. As long as Collins is out once again, Dedmon will have the opportunity to step up. It was Vince Carter who surprisingly did the heavy lifting against the Pistons, but you can’t count on Vince Carter to do that every night, especially against a tough matchup like the Pacers. Dedmon will have a bounce-back performance in this one. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.
Markieff Morris (at DET – $4,500): Needs 21.1 fantasy points. Morris has been solid in his last two outings and is starting to look healthy again. And now he gets the Pistons, a matchup he typically plays very well again. He averaged 36.2 fantasy points in three games against the Pistons last season. Maybe he thinks he’s his brother and this is a revenge game of sorts for him? Diagnosis: Proven matchup and a good salary based on usual production.
