High Value PF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Marcus Morris (at HOU – $6,000): Needs 27.8 fantasy points. Morris was up to 37.5 fantasy points against the Sixers on Christmas. When he’s gotten the minutes as a starter, he’s been playing very well. He should get the minutes in this one, as long as Harden plays. Once again, it’s tough to predict this game as a lot depends on the status of Harden. Morris may not see enough minutes or may have a letdown if Harden is sidelined. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and fairly reliable as long as Harden plays.

Noah Vonleh (at MIL – $5,600): Needs 26.3 fantasy points. Vonleh had 38.75 fantasy points against the Bucks on Christmas. He’s turned into a reliable option and he’s one of the few guys you don’t have to worry about when it comes to minutes on the Knicks. The points and rebounds are typically there, no matter the matchup. I don’t like a lot of Knicks in this game, but I trust Vonleh to at least get value. Diagnosis: Reliable

Al-Farouq Aminu (at GS – $4,500): Needs 20.9 fantasy points. Aminu has been all over the place this season but was up to 29.75 fantasy points against the Jazz on Christmas. Maybe that’s a sign that he is turning things around. Or maybe it just shows off his inconsistency even more. The minutes will continue to be there, especially against this matchup. And he does a bit of everything, which helps his value. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a good ceiling.
