High Salary C

Players costing over $6,250

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs BOS – $7,500): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. Aldridge had 52.75 fantasy points against the Clippers on Dec. 29. He’s red hot from the field right now, even if his rebounding numbers are down and he’s never going to do much with his assists. The Celtics are a tough matchup, but I like the way Aldridge is playing right now and I’m going to trust him to keep getting it done. Diagnosis: High ceiling, but I’m wary of him due to his overall play this season.

Clint Capela (vs MEM – $7,400): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. Capela was down to 21.75 fantasy points against the Pelicans on Dec. 29. It’s a little concerning, but the minutes and opportunities will continue to be there for him. And he typically plays well against the Grizzlies. He’s averaging 1.26 FPPM in his last five games against Memphis. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

Deandre Ayton (vs GS – $7,300): Needs 34.3 fantasy points. Ayton was up to 61.5 fantasy points against the Nuggets on Dec. 29. He’s been very good during this stretch and I like him at this salary. The Warriors still have issues at the center position and Ayton should be able to take advantage of them. He had 47.5 fantasy points against the Warriors on Oct. 22. Diagnosis:
