High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Anthony Davis (vs MIN – $11,500): Needs 53.8 fantasy points. Davis was down to 47.25 fantasy points against the Rockets on Dec. 29. I’m not concerned. It was a back-to-back and he had a monster night in Dallas the previous night. Now the Timberwolves are on a back-to-back and Davis has had a day off. He’ll bounce back in a big way in this game. Diagnosis: It’s Anthony Davis. There’s no way he has two poor games in a row, especially against this matchup.

Julius Randle (vs MIN – $7,900): Needs 37 fantasy points. Randle continues to be solid when he’s in the starting lineup. He’s never going to kill your team and he always finds a way to make an impact. The Timberwolves are on a back-to-back and the Pelicans are a much better team at home. There’s little concern with Randle right now in terms of his production. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

TJ Warren (vs GS – $6,600): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. Warren bounced back from a rough game against the Thunder with 42.25 fantasy points against the Nuggets. He’s been up-and-down during this recent stretch and he was up against the Nuggets, so if the trend continues, he’ll be down in this one. Trust him to break the trend. He never lacks for minutes or opportunities. He had 44 fantasy points in 24 minutes against the Warriors on Oct. 22. Diagnosis: Inconsistent, but a high ceiling based on the salary. I have a good feeling about him on Monday.
