High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,250

Anthony Davis (at CLE – $11,600): Needs 54.2 fantasy points. Davis has been over 80 fantasy points in two of his last three games. And now he gets the Cavaliers. There is a concern about a blowout in this game with the Cavaliers being on a back-to-back, but that implies the Pelicans are sort of good. Davis is fantastic, but as a team they haven’t proven much. Davis will deliver as usual. Diagnosis: It’s Anthony Davis. Unless you’re worried about the blowout, take him with confidence.

Kawhi Leonard (at MIL – $9,000): Needs 41.3 fantasy points. As mentioned in the previous slides, I expect Giannis and Kawhi to duel on Saturday. Kawhi had 44 fantasy points against the Bucks on Dec. 9. He’s typically reliable and I’m not worried about his off night in San Antonio. He’ll be better in this one. Don’t pay too much attention to the back-to-back for the Bucks. Diagnosis: Reliable with a good ceiling.

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs MEM – $7,700): Needs 36 fantasy points. Aldridge was down to 31.5 fantasy points against the Raptors, but he wasn’t needed quite as much as it was all about DeRozan in that game. He’s still shooting hot, his rebounding numbers were just down because DeRozan was out there stat-padding. As long as his scoring is there, the rest of his game will follow suit. Diagnosis: Reliable at the moment with a decent ceiling.
