Players costing $6,250 or under

Pascal Siakam (at MIL – $6,200): Needs 29 fantasy points. Siakam had 30 fantasy points against the Spurs on Jan. 3. Minutes were down due to the blowout, but they should be back up in this one. Siakam is averaging 39.6 fantasy points in two games against the Bucks this season. He’s been reliable all season and this appears to be a proven matchup for him. Until he shows me something different, keep taking him. Diagnosis: Very reliable with a good ceiling.

Danuel House Jr (at POR – $4,500): Needs 20.6 fantasy points. House continues to give the Rockets strong production in plenty of minutes. He was up to 29 fantasy points against the Warriors on Jan. 3. He’s shooting hot right now and does a little bit of everything. Until he cools off, keep taking him. And he shouldn’t cool off in this game given the matchup. Diagnosis: Reliable, hot, and a good ceiling.

Kevon Looney (at SAC – $4,000): Needs 18.7 fantasy points. Looney was up to 27.25 fantasy points against the Rockets on Jan. 3. He’s getting minutes as the starting center and may get more in this one due to his play against the Rockets and the outcry after the game about Kerr going with Iguodala over Looney. The matchup remains great. Diagnosis: Good ceiling and a great salary given his usual production.
