5. Mark Glowinski, RG, Indianapolis Colts

Arguably the biggest surprise performer on a team that boasted several qualified candidates, right guard Mark Glowinski landed in the perfect spot for his long-term development and a sizeable payday. The Indianapolis Colts helped resurrect the former fourth-rounder’s career after a poor stint with the Seattle Seahawks.

Glowinski was able to turn his immense physical gifts into a well-rounded blocker thanks to coaching and his self-improvement. His presence, along with other acquisitions and the return of Andrew Luck, helped the Colts’ offense completely transform.

Now the to-be 27-year-old is slated to benefit from an absolutely terrible offensive linemen free-agent cast. He’ll immediately be an upgrade for at least a third, if not more, offenses, and his price will swell due to the lack of supply.

The Colts enter the offseason flush with cap space, making it a very real possibility they simply match his demands and lock-in their line without even denting their available funds. If they don’t, Glowinski will be hotly desired so teams can avoid overpaying for a mediocre blocker or draft pick who is unlikely to help in 2019.

Laurent Duvernay-Tardif’s $8.2 million average may be the best comparison for his agent to sell to teams.
