Welcome back readers of FantasyCPR, we are back with our final game of the NFL DFS season, along with my final NFL piece of the year until next season preseason starts up. This article will be centered around DraftKings low stakes, $3 tournament that will pay $100,000 to first place, its a 20- max tournament that I will be max entering. Let’s dive into the Super Bowl coverage.
NFL DFS Quarterbacks:
Jared Goff($10,000) / Tom Brady ($10,600)Â
Both are playable at the captain position, you are not a fish if you play them in that spot, however I’m taking a positional player at that spot. Brady and Goff will be in majority of my lineups, will definitely have at least one of them in every single lineup.
Although the Patriots have been running the football well, Brady still has thrown 40+ pass attempts in his two playoff games. In a game that forecast the Patriots struggling to run the football, Brady might see upwards of 50 pass attempts. I love Brady in this matchup, probably the best raw points play on the slate, as he is nearly a lock for the 300-yard bonus (hitting it twice in his two playoff games). The one drawback from Brady has been touchdowns but I think this is a game we can expect multiple touchdown passes in.
Jared Goff is my pick for Super Bowl MVP. People have questioned whether the Rams even belong in this game, but let’s look at the facts. The Rams opened this game as the favorites, as the public bet nearly 80% of the action on the Patriots and the lines have yet to move. That tells you that the books are extremely confident in the fact that the Rams are going to win this football game. I see McVay scheming up an effective game plan that is going to fall on the shoulder of Jared Goff. Goff might play poorly in the first half, but he will settle down and win this Super Bowl for the Rams. I love Goff and the Rams this week.

NFL DFS Running Backs:
Patriots back field:Â
Sony Michel ($6,800) has been getting fed for the Patriots posting 53 carries for 242 yards and 5 touchdowns over the course of the two playoff games. Crazy production, however, the Rams have actually done a good job of limiting the run over the last few weeks. The Rams were able to hold Ezekiel Elliott to 20 carries for 47 yards and then carried it over the next week containing the Saints backfield to 17 carries for 46 yards. I like Michel, but I am not prioritizing him because the big games are coming from touchdowns.
James White ($7,200) has been the guy in Super Bowls for the Patriots and not really sure why this would change against a tough rush defense. In the first two games of the playoffs, White has caught 19 balls on 23 targets for 146 yards, his issues is he has yet to find the end zone. I’m betting on White scoring this week and makes an excellent play at the captain position.
Rex Burkhead ($4,800) is the Patriots 3rd running back and we talk about all the time how New England loves to throw wrinkles into the game plan that you simply cannot plan for. Burkhead is the do-it-all back for the Patriots, carrying the ball 16 times for 53 yards and 3 touchdown in just two short weeks. It also helps that he has added 5 catches for 30 yards also. Burkhead is going to get overlooked and due to recent production, the ownership is going to be on Sony Michel. In tournaments, I will be playing 0 Michel, leveraging it with  Burkhead. These are the calls you have to make.
Rams:Â
Todd Gurley ($9,000) is the without a doubt coming off his worst game of the NFL season two weeks ago, however I expect him to bounce back this week. The Patriots have one weakness and its defending pass catching running backs. Gurley has flashed his ability to catch passes out of the backfield and should make for a nightmare for the Patriots to cover. Gurley is captain playable.
C.J. Anderson ($5,200) priced up but I am fading. I just can’t envision a scenario where the Rams ride the back of Anderson in the Super Bowl. Anderson is an absolute fade for me.

NFL DFS Pass Catchers:
Julian Edelman ($10,800) is the most expensive player on the slate, this is a tough one for me. I will definitely have some Edelman, as he rates out decently but his matchup is no mismatch. I expect to have Edelman and Brady paired in my 5 player Patriots stacks but Edelman is not going to make my optimal build.

Rob Gronkowski ($6,000) is very underpriced currently, and this game rates out really well for Gronk. A little concerned that Rams will throw Talib on him, but I do expect for Gronk to build on his 11 target game two weeks ago.
Phillip Dorsett ($4,200) has three straight games with a touchdown, but I’m hopping off this week. Like Hogan more in this matchup.
Chris Hogan ($3,800) is my favorite cheap play on the slate due to his ability to break the big one. Hogan at any point can be a sneaky two catch, 70 yards and two touchdown game in the arsenal.
Robert Woods ($7,800) is my favorite Rams receiver. I think Woods could play really well over the middle of the field. Woods and Goff and go to be my go to wide receiver/ quarterback stack on the Rams.
Brandin Cooks ($8,200) is a former Patriot, but I do not love Cooks. I will have Cooks paired with Goff, I will have both Cooks and Woods but I will not have Cooks by himself without Goff. Doesn’t make sense for me.
NFL DFS Kickers:Â
I love both kickers in this game, probably play at least one kicker in every single lineup.
NFL DFS Final Thoughts:
Optimal lineups, I really like starting them with James White at the top and playing the two quarterbacks paired with Todd Gurley.
In tournaments, my recommendation is mix-and-match pieces and build game scripts hoping that you are hitting the right combination. More importantly, have fun with your lineups and enjoy the game. One interesting approach I’m going to try in tournaments is starting some lineups with Rex Burkhead and jam all the dudes in.
Predictions:Â
Rams on the money line
Jared Goff Super Bowl MVP
