4. Indianapolis Colts

The Colts were one of the most surprising teams in the 2018 season wrapping up with a 10-6 record and a playoff victory over their division rival Houston Texans. Frank Reich quickly turned around the franchise, and a lot of that resurgence stemmed from a healthy Andrew Luck and a defense that got better as the season wore on.

Oh, and by the way, the Colts lead the way in cap space this offseason with approximately $108 million giving them an incredible opportunity to add some more talent. Trey Flowers is a name they should keep an eye on because if there is a place for the Colts defense to improve, it is on the defensive line.

The Colts are one or two pieces away from having an incredible defensive line. With Denico Autry and Margus Hunt coming into their own last season and Jabaal Sheard and Tyquan Lewis being consistent threats off the edge, the Colts really just need one more guy to put them over the top.

Given the cap space and playoff contention, Flowers could see Indianapolis as a very attractive destination. He will have no issue getting the money he desire, likely around $15 million, and would contend for a division title. He would be moving from a 3-4 base to a 4-3 base, but his job is essentially the same in both. Seal the edge or find the quarterback, both of which he excels at. Undoubtedly, Flowers would be a great addition for the Colts, but there may be some more attractive places on the market.
