Gonzaga Bulldogs (30-3, No. 1 Seed)

After making the Final Four from the West region as a No. 1 seed in 2017, the Gonzaga Bulldogs have the red carpet laid out for them to repeat that performance this year. Led by Rui Hachimura, Killian Tillie, Brandon Clarke, Zach Norvell Jr. and Josh Perkins, Mark Few’s Bulldogs have as good a quintet as any team in the field.

Gonzaga could even get a chance to avenge their Sweet 16 loss to Florida State from a year ago if the two make the trip to Anaheim. Few has built Gonzaga up from bracket buster all the way to perennial contender. They have been so successful as of late that it feels a bit like cheating to group them in with other mid-major schools. The Bulldogs are easily the team most likely to end the 29-year drought for mid-majors in the NCAA Tournament.
